I took off today to get a quick ride up and down the trail. I sent out a quick text to several of my rider friends, but didn't expect any return on such short notice. It was a little windy riding today, but nothing spectacular. I rode to the north end of the trail and turned back south. The wind was a little crazy - sometimes slowing me, sometimes pushing me. When I came back into TR an SUV crossed an intersection ahead of me and it looked like Kristy driving it. So I gave her a big smile and wave, then relized that even though it looked like Kristy there was no way that it could have been. The girl saw me wave and gave me a real cutie pie smile. I pedaled down to Duke's where Kristy was cleaning up after closing and I told her that she was going to get me in trouble. From there I pedaled down to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and stopped for an oatberry shortbread and a cup of hot apple cider. I bought a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie for Cis. Then I rode the rest of the way home.
