After yesterdays all-day and overnight rainfall, the sun rose this morning like a fried egg, sunny side-up...
Today is the 150th "by-cycle" work commute day for me this year!
Additionally, with the completion of the afternoon commute, I have compiled 166 round trip work commutes, with more than 3100 bike commuter miles YTD!
For historical comparison:
In 2008 I was only able to achieve 148 Commuter cycling days for the entire year. Total commuter miles for 2008 were less than 3100 (3093.413 miles).
The 150th commuter day is somewhat more of an accomplishment in light of the fact that in 2008 I had steady summer work and therefore more cycling commute opportunities, yet did not accomplish 150 days of work commutes!
