 W-D/minute effort -a work-out statistic
Always trying to quantify my cycling efforts!
I came up with a new statistic which I think helps track my work-out effort, bike ride to bike ride. It can also be an interesting statistic comparing different riders efforts too. I call it the "Weight-Distance effort statistic".

This stat. enables you to chart your effort, developing a numerical statistic that you can use to compare ride-to-ride

Here's how to calculate the W/D effort:
RIDER WEIGHT(rider, bike & equipment) x RIDE DISTANCE ÷ RIDE TIME = Weight-Distance/min effort;

~an example calculated in pound/miles(lb/mi):
262 rider/bike weight(lb)x 15.9 ride distance(miles)÷ 92 ride time(minutes)= 45.28 lb-mi/min
