Enough for this month! There have been many days this month where I experienced changing precipitation while on my bike, specifically rain, frozen rain, and snow. So much for runaway Global climate change, it used to be said we were experiencing too much warming(which I would prefer in small amounts). Glad the month is done.
The Globe has been a newly dependable "steed", since replacing it's fork and tires.
A comparative summation;
2008 YTD: 353 rides; 6,033.02 miles on bike; 512:36:30 hours on bike; 45mph max speed on bike; 11.91mph avg speed; Temperature ranges: Min 15ºF, Avg 54ºF Max 94 ºF
November 2008 totals: 33rides; 459.24miles; 39:17:30 hours on bike; 11.02mph avg. speed, temperature range: Min 23ºF, Avg 36ºF, Max 65 ºF
November 2007 totals: 27rides; 474.11miles; 37:56:00 hours on bike; 11.49mph avg speed; Temperature range: Min 32ºF; Max 60ºF;
Novemeber '08 was colder and felt wetter than 2007; Did 6 more rides this month than Nov. 2007. After spending 81 minutes more time cycling this month, it seems curious enough to wind up almost 15 miles less for Nov 2008. Old age catching up with me?
To date, I have exceeded total miles versus previous years.
Total rides for the year are one more than all of 2007.
Total hours YTD exceed all of last year by 61 hours.
YTD total miles exceeded last years total miles by 150
(counted indoor miles in 2007; no longer counting indoor cycling as "indoor miles").
6033 outdoor miles to date, exceeds total 2007 outdoor miles by 837 miles, with 31 days left to finish 2008...
173 consecutive cycling days with miles of "road smiles" along the way!
