Taking an occasional Dilaudin tablet(3 pills yesterday) and an occasional Ibuprofen and or Tylenol. Pain is very manageable, about a 1-2 on a 10 scale. The biggest issue seems to be a feeling of skin tightness around the site of the incision and nerve pain in the back of the knee when walking or standing. Also the skin around the incision has some numbness. Additionally when walking there is a bit of a surface burning sensation located on the non-Fibula side of the knee -probably related to a years ago trauma and scaring just below the skin surface. Overall swelling is minimal but the stiffness seems to be pronounced.
I am able to flex the knee to at least 100 degrees but straightening from the flexed position does not yield the flattest leg position. In order to have the flattest/straightest leg outstretched position I must first rest the leg on a flat surface then flex the Quad while extending/pushing forward at the heel, at that point the leg gets down fairly flat.
But the TRANSITION from flexed to flat yields a limited flat extended position, without taking the aforementioned rest step.
Still having nerve pain at the back of the knee when walking, standing, or trying to straighten the leg.... Did a 10 minute soak in the tub, then 10 minutes on the indoor cycle;
