Sleeping better but I did spend an hour in the middle of the night researching weather histories.
The snow depth in Rochester for December 10th has been deeper only two previous years than it is right now. Usually the typical snow depth for a December 10th in this region is 2" or less. Below are the top 4 snow depths for the past 35 years -1977 it was 21"; -1981 it was 13"; -2010 it is 7"; -1992 it was 6"; The snowfall and low temperatures since my surgery have been limiting factors for outdoor activities.
This morning I made two cycling sessions with a break in between. During the break I suspended a 5 pound weight from my ankle while lying on my stomach (a leg straightening exercise) for 10 minutes. Yesterday was my first experience with this therapy. At Westside they used a 4 pound weight. It is uncomfortable but effective and easy enough to do at home.
The average of the two spin sessions are listed below. -25 minutes in two morning spin sessions; 6.6 miles 11.6 mph 101 HR
