Minimizing the hazards by commuting in the day-light and twilight severely limits work commute opportunities.
The struggle is on to make 150 commuter days before the end of the year. Mondays and Tuesdays keep me out too late for a safe commute home. So, most of my work commutes will be Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays.
On the front of "Consecutive cycling days", it appears that "PAbiker63" will be UNBEATABLE! Not only does PAbiker63 have more consecutive days, he also has more miles per ride! Which I think says "he's a top" rider in a significant way. Had I considered consecutive days riding as a significant endeavor earlier in the year I would be "giving him a run for his money".
As it is for all 2008, I have missed 42 days of outdoor effort. Pneumonia in March account for 1/4 of the days! And to be perfectly frank about it, lately my effort at outdoor rides has been rather pathetic with so many "sub-double digit" mileage rides. And finally, the obvious lack this year of "favorable climate change" is compounding limited outdoor cycling opportunities!
~a mid-day ride today; Tomorrow I promise myself a longer effort ! 181 consecutive cycling days with miles of "road smiles" along the way!
