Somewhat of a standard commute with an effort to minimize the wind force on the return ride via Hill Road->Burritt->C-P.T.L.Rd.;
Being out there on roadway which crosses open fields and farm areas makes the wind impact staggering at times. The return leg of my commute today was one of those times. The route today for the ride home somewhat mitigates the wind effects. Still it was a blustery, squall fettered, slow commute, pedaling back up to the ridge on the way home...
It's no big deal but it feels O.K. to reach the 10 commute mark and 178 commuter miles for 2012 at this point in time. Last year I was in the midst of TKR rehabilitation and had only one work commute to this point. Looking back on previous years to this point: 2010->15 commutes 2009->6 commutes 2008->7 commutes
Since 2008 my total work commute efforts add up to 11,340 miles in 623 round trip rides;
I expect to achieve 150 work commutes this year...
