At the Greece YMCA I experienced a fascinating 45 minutes yesterday, in 2 work-out sessions on the S3Y Novo - Recumbent Bike. Not a typical stationary exercise bike! Thanks Jerry! target=_blank>www.ifholdings.com/products_services/recumbent_bike.html In between sessions I had an opportunity try a few of the Strive fitness and some newer strength training circuit machines. The Leg/Quad Extensions were a kick. For grins, to see what I could handle weight wise I set the device to 205lbs. Absolutely no problem at that weight! One year old "Baby knees" performed flawlessly. Feeling a little "delayed-onset muscle soreness" today but that was expected and no big issue.
This brings me back to the thought that an absolute best rehabilitation after TKR is spinning on an exercise bike!
