a great ride; 'twas a perfect Spring like afternoon! Pedaled in shorts. Ride output was reasonable.

Saw my bus leaving the Elementary School this afternoon. Denise the substitute driver, pointed me out to the kids as the bus stopped at the intersection by the Hilton Fire Hall. There I was standing with my bike, waving, blowing kisses, and giving a thumbs up sign as the fleet of busses going by returned their greetings.
My bus sounded like a bit of an uproar as it came to a stop at the intersection. Hearing my young riders shouting "Hi Big John", was thrilling for me. Can't wait to be back. Unfortunately I don't think an afternoon ride-along would be a good idea -too disruptive to busing the students safely home.
