Did a tour around a portion of Canandaigua with Bruce today. The goal was to investigate a section of the Ontario Pathways trail. The ride route started in Canandaigua and included 9+ miles on the Ontario Pathways trail -very rough and slow going (6mph).
Some of the trail revealed skidded horse hoof marks, I bogged down (spinning my drive wheel) in those spots and needed to dismount and walk approximately 100 yards total. Along the trail were much ruts and a lot of grass, mud, and water -not much cinder or stone on the trail...
Total ride was 22.9 mile with rolling roadway. 2 hours and 33 minutes of biking. Maximum downhill speed was 33.8mph. Total elevation gain was 328 feet. route map: click here
