 Another "Goof on a Roof"?
My wife and me were driving home from Sarah's Garden Center. We saw some hi-Vis outfits being worn just ahead, so we made a detour to see what was up.

The Hi-Viz wearers were Fire police in hi-viz yellow with reflective stripes, head to toe, including a fire hat. The spectacle caused my wife to ask if that color was available in a bike helmet. Hmmm, I don't know...

The police were directing traffic around a "controlled" barn burn. They have those for training purposes with our volunteer fire departments, it's great hands-on fire fighting experience! Before we reached the point on the roadway opposite the burn there was another property with a detached garage. On top of the Garage roof was a... Peacock in all it's splendor, a shimmering full display of feather! The tail feathers spread had to be 8-10 feet wide by my estimate.

I said to Ginny, "Did you see that?"
She said wow yeah!
I said something like, "That Peacock on the roof is goofy -unbelievable!"
She said, "What Peacock on the roof? The peacock was on the driveway in full display splendor."
"No! there was one on the garage roof in in total display too" I said.
Neither of us saw both birds, and both of us were very impressed with what we saw!"

In retrospect it seems as if the Peacocks were trying to out do one another.
I had never seen such an awesome display!
