A quick jaunt home from Doan a Chevy dealership.
The diagnosis on the Trail Blazer is that the engine has a knocking/ticking noise. That means it needs a new engine!
There is only 59,000 miles on that truck! The dealership prognosis is the second opinion identical to the diagnosis/prognosis from my regular mechanic. That vehicle has suffered no abuse under our ownership these past 6 years. In those 6 years it has moved us 31,000 miles...
Coincidentally, biking these past 6 years has moved me nearly 30,000 miles without any ticker issues!!
