Lots of roadies out there today; There was an organized bike event related to the missing teenage girl from Gates, who went down to Myrtle Beach during school break and did not return home. Bikers traveled to several Elementary Schools doing a hundred mile tour around the county. The kids at Village Ele. and Quest were really Wowed when the riders showed up at their respective campuses!
Additionally, I crossed paths with several riders going about their routines while I was on the homeward leg of my commute.
While deeply wandering the back roads of my mind, I was somewhat startled by a cyclist as he passed me voicing a friendly "How's it going?" greeting. Spurred on by the greeting and being passed, I increased my concentration and cadence and made my way a little quicker down the road...
