I left the house at 7:30 am, needed 12 miles to total a 200+ mile week so...
I was going to head in to Brockport to scout a parking spot for my bike. The "School Bus Rodeo" is upcoming and I participate in an aspect by judging "student handling" or "general procedures". Its a fun time I've missed only once in 9 years. Anyhow, the last time it was held in Brockport I rode my bike there. But this time around the venue location is on the College campus instead of the Central school district property. So, I need to find a secure spot on the College grounds.
I didn't go to Brockport. Instead after patting down my pockets of my windbreaker, I noticed there was something in one pocket. It was a "confiscated" pencil sharpener. I had intended to return it to the student as he departed off the bus but I forgot. So, I pedaled over to the Parmesan's family home, spoke with Ma and Pa Parmesan, and dropped off the sharpener. Came home and cut grass.
For the week I've bikes 206.6 miles; Along the way were "miles of smiles"!
