"The earth has a circumference of approximately 24,900 miles".
Since the Winter of 2003 I have biked about 30,000 miles -about 3000 hours in the saddle on six different bikes. Six years ago I had no concept of biking 30,000 miles!
The Globe is one days ride away from 10,000 miles! Five years (65 months) ago when I bought the Globe. I had no concept of 10,000 miles on a bike -let alone 30,000. It has been great ride -so far!
The Specialized Globe model has had many incarnations over several decades. The 2005 model (of which I have) is a versatile, durable, "light footed" but somewhat heavy, hybrid.
