Today is the first ride I've had for a couple of weeks. I rode the Surly for the first time in months. It is certainly a lot heavier than the Trek and since I have been off bike for a while it seemed even heavier. I rode by the Peace Center and out Washington to the Hampton Avenue Bridge and got back on the trail at Hampton Avenue. The trail wasn't too crowded so it was a pretty nice ride. I turned around across from the creperie. I stopped at the TRee House and bought a brownie and a muffin to take home for Cissi and had a cafe au lait. Lindi is no longer at the TRee House, but there were 3 new girls. I talked to a redheaded girl name Paige. I rode back down the trail and saw Don Y and Lynda riding north at Furman. The rest of the ride was non-eventful, but it was very crowded around Falls Park.
