Today I rode the Trek from home to Cleveland Park then cut across the Peace Center Amphitheater and got on the trail at Linky Stone Park. I took the prescribed detour around the Unity Park construction and went straight up the trail. I saw Officer Mike at the Furman railroad car. The Furman campus is reopened from the lockdown since they dismissed for the summer. The trail repaving stops at the stairway that goes to the TR Farmers' Market and the Police Department. The wind was really tough today. I rode to the north end then turned back. I stopped at the TRee House and had my decaf au lait and talked with Gene a bit then with Regan for quite a while. I also met Ava. The ride down the trail was definitely wind aided! I stayed on the trail until I reached Hampton Avenue then turned toward Hampton Station. It was packed with people. I took the Hampton Avenue Bridge then follow Washington to Broad Street. I got off at Falls Street then turned back to the Cancer Survivors Center and followed the trail back to the zoo, then climbed the big hill home.
