-is always more fun when you know you're being chased! Dogging another rider is always best accomplished stealthily.
A nice climb on PineHill Road. Along the way I played the part of "Rabbit" and beat the "Dog" to the top of Pine Hill. At the top of the hill I stopped and waited for "Kevin", a 50 Y/O biker on a Hybrid riding with some off-road aggressive tire tread. I first detected this biker dogging me on Trimmer Road. That was all the incentive I needed to maintain my cadence. I hoped the rider would take the challenge and try to catch me on Pine Hill. He did make the turn. Fortunately I had more stamina then he had for the climb. Of course too, I had a big lead to start, and later discovered he was rehabbing from an arthroscopic procedure on his knee(done in February). We stopped and had a pleasant conversation about being old.
