Great inbound speed! A midmorning commute with no discernable favaorable or unfavorable breezes.
I covered the first 8.1 miles in 27 minutes and 40 seconds;
Even better-> 68 minute complete round trip! one of my best commutes in a long while...
I had company for 4 miles on the return. Turned out it was "Kim" the mother of one of my past bus riders. Her parents live on Peck road which is one of my roads to get home. She was riding a vintage Schwinn mountain bike with wide knobby tires. She pedaled it well for a occasional rider, helmetless, wearing flipflops, and being 44(Y/O).
