It was a good ride!...just like last year except it was raining and the turn out was a bit smaller; I arrived at Basil Marrella park at 10:30am. A group of bikers from Hamlin had already arrived and had continued on.
While in pursuit, I met up with a couple of fellow enthusiasts traveling from Hamlin just ahead of the 2nd group, at Janes Rd. and the 390 overpass. They convinced me to await group 2's arrival (about 20min later).
After a brief spritz downtown the weather broke and the sun came out mid-afternoon The ride on the towpath was a bit muggy at first then the sun burned off the humidity. By late afternoon it was warm and breezy. Westbound headway was a slow go. All in all it was a great feeling giving it my best shot, glad to have experienced a few more "miles of smiles" along the way!
