I rode late because of circumstances, so I rode the surly from home. I rode straight up the trail, stopping to see the new crossing at McDaniel Avenue. It looks like a death-trap for cyclists. Furman Way is closed again as well. The Cleveland Park area is getting tough to ride with all the trail closures with detours and street closures with detours. I rode straight up the trail and stopped at the TRee House and bought two pastries for Cissi to take to Florida and a blueberry muffin for Erica. I stopped at Furman and sent a message to Cissi that I would be at the Café in 25 to 30 minutes. I wrote a message to Erica, but failed to send it.I got to the café and sent Cissi a message as to where I was, then discovered the unsent message to Erica. I got a table under a tree and we ordered our meals. I had a bacon, tomato, avocado salad. We had a good time talking. After they left, my legs were really tight to ride, but I made it home.
