Along the way I met-up with Jerry V., at Steve's Citgo. I wolfed a double egg, sausage, and cheese sandwich (Steve makes them great!) waiting for Jerry to come by. We rode a dozen or so miles together. After Jerry split for home I headed down Peck Road.
About 1 mile from home, on Pine Hill Road, I flatted (my 1st Road flat in a long while). Used a 3x patched spare tube and my CO2 inflater and I rode home the rest of the way with good speed (need to fix the leak in the other tube.
Sure would feel more secure on the road using anti-leak filled tubes but finding "removable valve" Presta tubes in the size I need is somewhat of a CHALLENGE!
