There was a surprising amount of Tour riders on the section of towpath between Spencerport and the River around 2-4pm. Surprising from the perspective that usually by 3PM most of the Tour throng would already have the days ride complete. Yet with 15-25 miles left to reach Nazareth College where the Tour camps tonight, the pace for many seemed languid and relaxed.
Along the way I stopped in Spencerport about 2:45PM to do some banking. Many riders were stopped in Spencerport, relaxing along the canal and at several establishments, mostly outdoor venues like the Galley and Abbott's.
Leaving Spencerport I continued East to the the Rail overpass(another 9 miles) before turning back to complete my errand -to score some homegrown(corn) at the H.P.Meir farm-stand.
