A ride in to Spencerport with Ginny a.k.a. Bike-N-Gin; We mailed a couple of bills, a little further down West Ave, Ginny noticed her back tire going flat. We stopped and I prepared to patch her tube which was punctured with a staple. The tire was not completely flat due to the anti-leak compound I had installed in the tubes a couple of years ago. We removed the staple and re-inflated the tire. The air pressure held all the way home.
The only "bad" thing about the leak-stop compound is that tubes cannot be patched. Of course, they do not need patches "theoretically". I was glad I put some leak stop compound in her tubes...
Back wheel on the Cadenza is showing some run-out. Need to true it up before the next ride. The wheel run-out condition is a reminder that the wheels on the Cadenza are not really strong enough for a fat guy. UPDATE: Broke a spoke!
