 A Parma-Spencerport-Hamlin Tour
-with Gene and Robert;
Tom and Bill responded to the invitation but declined for various reasons. Jerry sent no response to several ride invitations which I have sent him this month. He has an apparent issue with replying...

Robert Gene and I planned today's ride around a visit to the Lake Ontario Winery and Brewery. This farm winery is a mere 6 miles from my house, even less of a distance from Gene's house. So I mapped out a flexible circuitous route which accomplished the desired mileage goals.

I left my home at 9AM to rendezvous with Gene and Robert at Gene's house. From there we headed East and South and stopped at the Ferris Goodrich Legion Post where the Spencerport Canal Days event was staging a classic auto show. Then we headed North with a brief stop at Griff's brewery which wasn't open. We continued on our tour North and West through familiar roads in Parma, Clarkson, and Hamlin. From Hamlin, we headed back East and South finally arriving at the Lake Ontario Winery and Brewery. While relaxing there we had some good conversation with the staff including Stephanie(she was shorted some tip money which I intend to make good on).

I sampled some German style IPA. Gene and Robert sampled a darker Trippel style brew. We headed back to Gene's house where from there I continued my ride home.

Jerry was copied with this ride invitation and route details but has chosen to be non-communicative with me. I respect that a friend with common interests and lifestyles can sometimes drift apart. A "drift/rift" seems to have occurred between Jerry and me.

An odd fellow among odd fellows -this I may be, but I consider friendships relationships that need nurturing with continual exchanges of heart to heart thought. Not getting any sort of communicative exchange lately from Jerry.

When looking to be offended one can always find an offense. I choose not to look for offense but to seek friendship on common ground.
