Made my monthly minimum(600 miles) with no days to spare... This year seems a bit more of an effort than usual. Is this a consequence of aging? More likely my knees continue the process of leading the way in my aging body breaking down.
Over the past 10 years I have recorded and logged more than 24,000 miles, at least half of the 24,000 miles came as work commute miles! Since February 2003 I have made Work Commutes a consistent part of my exercise regimen. Over the past 4 years I have made an effort at increasing my organized ride participation too. Finally, since 2005 I have pedaled more than 20,800 miles for fun and fitness.
Biking has taken on an increasingly large part of my lifestyle, though I would still classify my activity level as sedentary for the 22 hours a day I'm not on bike. Let the good miles roll!
