I took off today late in the morning planning to ride and see how I am reacting to the heat after my ride on Saturday. I left the house at 10:30 to ride. I rode to Verdae where I saw Jeff H then up the trail to Leopard Forest in TR. I had a café au lait then figured that my issue with overheating might be from wearing sun sleeves. That doesn't allow my arms to cool down my core. I took off my sleeves at the Leopard Forest and ride back without them. I rode back to the Swamp Rabbit Café and had a BLT Salad and bought a cup of ice. I also bought two pairs of Swamp Rabbit Café socks. I headed back for the house but ran into Pat and his boys at the top of Hillside and talked with him a while. I stopped at the church to talk with Pastor Dale, but he was occupied.
