I signed up for high speed DSL today. Installation will be on Aug 25th. Coincidentally I think my slow speed Bluefrog Internet connection has expired. Can't log on this evening.
Back in June my charge card "expired". The new card arrived with a new expiration date but I neglected to up-date my card expiration date with my Internet Service Provider. So one day this past June maybe, I was unable to log on to my accounts. So I called updated the particulars with the ISP. I Pay up 3 months in advance and I'm good to go! Of course they neglected to tell me I was also being charged a $5 service fee. Whatever!
Two weeks later the charge card company decides I should have a new card number for greater security. This meant I would need to update the card particulars with my ISP again! But I've been planning this move to Hi Speed for years. I knew the clock was ticking and would soon catch up with me. I've expected to be "shut down" by Bluefrog when they try to bill me for the next quarter and find that my credit card number is no longer valid. Perhaps today was the cut-off day.
Tomorrow is Ginny and my 31st wedding anniversary. My beautiful one still loves me and I love her! Some day I should write some thoughts about the evolution of a successful marriage.
