A relaxing ride with Bike-N-Gin; We biked along the Towpath West to Holley and came back the same way. We did our 23+ mile ride in 4 hours, stopping frequently along the way to take it all in. The Holley Falls was flowing thunderously. It was a perfect day for riding! Absolutely calm, overcast, near deserted on the towpath, and bug free.
Near the start of the ride we stopped at the Adams Basin Lift Bridge. There we met "Mike", a retired Cop from the SUNY Campus at Brockport. Mike at 56 is an avid Cyclist, biking 12 months a year for health and recreation. Great dedication to an activity more folk our age should find time to do more.
