I passed the 3800 mile post for the year on this ride. Also passed the 1000 mile mark this year for the Bianchi.
This Summer has been difficult to get in rides of any distance. What helped in past Summers was the occasional work commute and recreational rides with other bikers. Also this Summer's rainfall has the lawn growing lavishly, needing to be cut all the time -it takes time away from biking!
Well, I've got a couple of road trips lined up for the Fall, but no Highlander this year. Additionally, regular work commutes start-up on the 8th of September!
In the mean time I'm finishing up August in a fury, with 20-30+ mile rides! With an extra effort goal set last week to reach 450 miles, it looks done with 3 more days and only 58 miles to go...
