This ride was meant to be a social event with Josh from Bicycle Outfitters and his Cycling Brockport group. Josh didn't think anyone was up for the ride or something. I had made the commitment via Facebook email the day he posted the ride... In any regard he seemed a bit pre-occupied with other (work related matters?); Unfortunately Josh didn't have his road bike with him, so he backed out of the ride...
It turned out to be a fast-paced ride with Mike(upd404). Ginny and I met Mike last week on the towpath. Mike has impressive climb abilities, and he has racked up nearly 2500 miles so far this year. On the ride this evening he zipped right up Redman Road with no discernable effort using his Raleigh Misceo 1.0 Hybrid. Nice bike and cycling technique!
