A great ride meeting up with Jerry for the first time in many weeks.
I started from home about 10 minutes before 8 AM. Met up with Jerry and Elaine in North Gates at the Canal towpath and Long Pond Rd. We did 25 miles together, cycling out to Pittsford, and doubling back to GVP.
There is presently a significant detour onto Westphal Rd., due to ongoing reconstruction of the adjacent 390/590 highways. On the return to GVP, Jerry and Elaine decided on heading into downtown. From that point back at GVP, I figured a 46-48 mile ride would be good enough for me, so we went our separate ways. I continued my ride back to home. It was just a lovey day for a bike ride!
