The Highlander is an annual ride I have participated in 6 of the last 7 years. It's big stuff, with upward of 1000+ riders participating in several variations of challenging tours starting and finishing at Bristol Mountain Ski Resort.

I did the ride with brucew. But of course Bruce is a much faster cyclist. I took about 90 minutes more time than Bruce used to pedal the same distance. During the tour we were able to reconnect at the refreshment stops along the way. I finished the route about a few minutes after he did.
Corkscrew route

The Bianchi passed 10,000 lifetime miles on this ride.
