An RBC ride with Bruce as ride leader. a recovery ride; Some Lactic Acid build-up was noticeable -legs felt tired. Another issue could have been a fading of my recumbent ride conditioning.... The speedsters were off and spinning out of sight within the first 5 miles. Actually they were gone by the time I reached the top of the first climb. That in itself is not an issue for me. What was a bit of a quandary was the lack of detail on the ride map.
Larry the other recumbent rider, lives in the area and was somewhat familiar with the neighborhood. His map, though a bit more detailed, lacked almost as much detail as my map. Anyhow Larry and I had a good ride. Paired up, we went fishing through the residential streets looking for the stone path over to Muirfield Court. We eventually found a path at the end of Stuyvesant and pedaled over to Pittsford-Mendon Rd. We biked out to Thornell then over to East St.. Taking East St. South to Taylor Road where the storm clouds and lightening convinced us to head back...
