I rode down to teh entrance to the zoo to meet the Sunday Ride group. There was a pretty good crowd - Cato, Ken, Don and Elissa, Kimberly, Susan, Jason, Nancy and her son who was pulling a toddler, a young woman, and me. We took off and byppassed Falls Park. The trail was really crowded and the group quickly fractured. There were none of the leaders up front. Jason was up there and he likes make every ride a training ride, so he really stretched out the group. Cato tried to regroup at a couple of places but Jason, the young gal, Nancy and her son were on up front. When we got to the Furman entrance Caato went in to tour the campus but nobody else did. I later found the Jason and the young gal were waiting there. I cut onto campus at another point to catch them, but they were out of sight. I finally saw them across the lake. I went to a point that they would have to cross to get out. While there a student was riding a skateboard down the hill there and she wrecked pretty hard. I rode down to her and she said that she was fine, but I could see a lot of road rash. She seemed to be more embarrassed than injured. I rode down and picked up her skateboard and brought it back up the hill. Then I discovered that the skateboard belonged to anotehr girl that was pushing the scraped up girl's bike down to her. The group that I was waiting on never did come out there. They had ridden across campus to go climb Paris Mountain. I rode on up to TR and the Forest and the regular riders were there. I had a cup of coffee and a slice of carrot bread. I also bought a brownie for Cis. Shortly before we left Jason and the young gal scame in from riding the mountain. The ride down the trail was very crowded. We saw Noel and Ramona along the way. Susan and I cut across town while the rest of them rode through Falls Park. It was a crazy ride.
