I ride the Trek from home today intending to do a light easy ride up and down the trail. I rode up the trail getting off at Old Buncombe in TR and taking Watson to McElheney back to TR. I went back down the trail but ran into Don and Lynda south of TR. I chased them down and rode with them back to TR. Then truned south again and met Bill south of the pocket park at Sulphur Springs. We rode north and rain into Ken and Mark at Furman and then Don and Lynda just north of Furman. We rode to TR and Bill was in a lot of pain and starting to struggle. We rode back down the trail and stopped periodically to stretch and rest. We rode to Bill's house, then I headed for home. I got home 35 minutes after sunset.
