Today I rode the Trek from home. I took East North to Summit, then my Dreamland route. When I climbed the big hill behind Paris Mountain golf course, I climbed it in the big ring thinking that I had shifted to the small ring. No wonder I worked so hard at it. I crossed 276 from OBR and turned back toward Furman to get on the trail. I took it to the TRee House where I ran into Steve S, Kimberly, Don and Lynda, and Keith preparing to leave. I greeted all of them, then got my café au lait. I rode back down the trail and saw that the light at Blue Ridge is now functional.
