Today I drove to Cleveland Park to ride Ken’s Sunday ride. Six of us left the park - Ken, Steve S, Mark, a pair of Dutch riders Peter and Barbara, and me. We took off and threaded our way through the Falls area, then we met Don Y and Lynda. So there were 8 of us on a hot day. Since we had some new riders Ken did his "smell the roses" tour with stops at the FDR site and at Fat Ma’s. We looped the lake at Furman and turned around across from the Tandem Creperie. We stopped at the Treehouse and I ordered a TR smoothie - with blueberries, pineapple, butter pecan syrup, and soy milk. I drank that and downed a lot of water. I probably consumed over 100 ounces of water and drink on this ride. We rode back down the trail with the group splintering and regrouping several times.
