This morning I took the Surly from home and rode through Cleveland Park and Falls Park then on to Hudson Street where I stopped to take a picture of the new bridge that will be in Unity Park. Then I headed to the prescribed detour, but found Mayberry Street closed for work on a power line. I turned back on Hudson and wandered around until I hit Washington then wandered to the Hampton Avenue bridge. I went by Hampton Station and followed Hampton Avenue between the new apartments and Mt Calvary. I got back on the trail just below the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. From there I followed the trail to the north end then turned back and rode into TR and stopped at the TRee House fora decaf au lait and a spicy peachy chicken sandwich. Kristen was just finishing her art camp, Gene was in the kitchen, Reagan was Barista, while Rachel and a new oriental girl ran the counter and cleaned around the shop. Then I rode back down the trail. Mayberry was still closed, so I went up the hill and crossed the rail lines at the Old Queen street Bridge. I went back to the trail at Hudson then crossed the walk bridge that took me to Falls Street. Then I took my normal route home.
