Did a variation of the RBC ride #334, Bogs of Barre, with Jerry V. Saw much Onion harvest activity along Transit Road. With Jerry, there is always good company and pleasant conversation(conversation peppered with references about horticulture and gardening, forestry, mulch and compost, house and yard maintenance, modification, and upgrade).
As for the upcoming ride in the Naples-Bristol area: This will be my 7th year participating in the Highlander. I accomplished a 100 mile version in 2008(my first 100 mile ride ever). I missed taking part in the ride in 2010. I have tried to do this ride every year since my brother-in-law Mike told me about it in 2005. Hopefully I am adequately conditioned for next weekend's "13th annual Highlander"
