A ride with Jerry today to Pittsford, where we payed homage to the "Moose".
Today the Moose was looking fine wearing a Tutu and sunglasses! I have posted images from previous encouters with the Moose. Wish there was an updated image, but I nor Jerry carried a camera on todays ride.
This ride nearly finishes out the Summer biking season. The 55 mile distance on mostly level ground felt good at this modest pace. Jerry's company enhanced the relaxing nature of the ride. We met up on Elmgrove Road and headed out to Pittsford via Ridgeway to the towpath entrance on LongPond Road. Brief stops at GVP and a short time watching x-country runners and Crew Rowers. From there out via towpath to where Mr. Moose is stationed. Then the turn around after a brief stop to pet the "Moose" and back to Greece on the towpath to Longpond Road. We then doubled back to the Lee Road exit, and headed north to Greece. At North Greece Road and Peck Road we went each on our own way home.
