This commute began mid-morning with a ride East to Jerry's house where we continued East to Charlotte.
We stopped by the Port of Rochester at the mouth of the Genesee and watched the Rochester Belle riverboat undock and head upriver with a boat load of Leaf Peepers. While in Charlotte, I met and talked a minute with Pete my auto mechanic who was there with a friend, stopping to watch the river while on a Lunch time Harley ride.
From Charlotte Jerry and I headed back West, via the LOSP path to Island Cottage Road, then to Janes Road. Finally wending our way to Frisbee Hill Road and North Greece Road, where Jerry Headed south to his house and continued West to Hilton.
An interesting note along the way: Making a quick stop at a small park on Frisbee Hill we discovered a "Port-a-potty" door was jammed from some teenager prank I presume. This situation was causing two Mom's, who were there with young children, some degree of discomfort over not having access. After studying the jammed door I was able to discern the correct way of prying the door open without damaging the apparatus -Bikerjohn to the rescue!
Later after my afternoon bus run I headed home from "downtown" Hilton. One cool but glorious Fall day.
