I rode the Straggler from home through Cleveland Park and across town. The railroad crossing at Hampton Station was blocked by a train, so I had to go around and take the "hump bridge" to go north. I rode up the trail, got off at Old Buncombe Road to take Watson to McElhaney. I stopped at the TRee House and had a café au lait and said "Hey!" to Kristen and Gene. The trip down the trail was pretty uneventful. I tried clipping my mirror to my new helmet, but that was a bust. It was fine on the trail, but I couldn't locate cars on the street. So I put it back on my glasses.
