 All rides are beneficial!
I think it is essential to designate whether cycling is on an e-bike or not. An e-bike effort is very cadence orientated without needing too many gearing changes to compensate for elevation or winds. It is possible to simulate a non-e-bike "flat-land" effort on an e-bike. The big difference is a faster speed average with the sensation of flattening out the road ahead.
