Riding in the two low temperature dips of the day. The warmer ride was into work (42°F). On the ride home, beginning around 4 PM, A squall of bead sized snow pellets pelted me for an intense period. The effect of cycling through the phenomenon while on Burritt Road was nearly blinding.
