I rode the Trek from home to meet Steve S and Ken at the tennis courts to ride out to Tubbs Mountaian. We rode up Cleveland and Camperdown Way to the Liberty Bridge then took the trail north. The work on the storm sewer at Willard Street has the trail torn up and it’s a mess getting around it. Ken always wants to ride out White Horse Road Extension to get to Tubbs Mountain, which is a horrible way to go. But Ken is set in his ways. We rode over the mountain and back to TR. I stopped at the TReehouse, but Ken and steve didn’t want to, so they went on. Ken acted like I let the group down (the group being Ken) by not staying with them.
I went to the TReehouse and had my fruit cup and a decaf cafe au lait plus I bought a blueberry muffin for Cissi. I learned the second barista’s name Allie. So now I know Kristen, Gene, Reagan, Lindi, and Allie. I left the TReehouse and rode down the trail to the Orange Line and crossed the Hampton Avenue Bridge . I took Washington Street back to Hudson then dropped down the the trail from there. I folowed the trail back through falls Park and Cleveland Park then rode by the zoo back to Washington Street that I took to Hillside to climb the big hill home. I stopped and talked to Pat on my way up the hill. He and his kids were headed to the park to ride their scooters and bikes.
