I rode the Surly today from home and met Mark at the tennis courts. We rode up the trail and out to the north end. Mark was in a hurry so we didn’t stop at the TRee House. We rode back down the trail and took the Orange Line to Hampton station and the Hampton Avenue Bridge back to Washington Street. We took Broad Street back to McDaniel and took it back to the park. we rode up the Hincapie Path and went through 1st Baptist parking lot to Cleveland Street. We cut through Gardenview Avenue to Woodland Way and followed it around Cleveland Park until we were back at the tennis courts. I left Mark there and went over to the zoo and went out that way. Mark pulled up behind me on Washington Street at the Lourens Road light. I took Hillside up the hill, but stopped to talk to my friend Pat. I also stopped at Chris and Becky’s driveway to get a good drink and when I pulled out of there it started sleeting. By the time I was at Circle Avenue it sleeted hard the rest of the way hoe.
