Today I rode the Trek to the tennis courts, but nobody else showed up to ride. I headed up the trail but noticed that my Cat-Eye was working off and on. It stayed that way for much of the ride, then it finally died about 25 miles into the ride. I was coming into TR when I met Lindi walking down the trail. I turned back and talked to her a few minutes. Then I rode to the north end and turned back to TR. I stopped at the TReeHouse and had a decaf cafe au lait and bought chocolate chip cookies for Cissi. I talked to Kristen out in the parking lot and Gene, Lindi, Allie, and Reagan inside. Then I headed back down the trail. I took the Hampton Avenue after the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and crossed the Hampton Avenue Bridge up from Hampton Station. I took Washington to Hudson then cut across to Westfield Street and back to the trail. I followed the trail and went out the Hincapie Path and cut through 1st Baptist parking lot back to Cleveland Street. Then I took Gardenview to Woodland Way. I cut over to the zoo entrance and out to Washington Street. There was a wreck on Washington street just short of Laurens Road that had at least 6 police cruisers that had traffic tied up. I had to work my way through that mess to get to the left turn lane then climbed Hillside. I stopped and talked to Pat on Hillside and told him what the church plans were. Then I rode on home.
