Today I took the Trek down East North to Cleveland Park. I followed the trail to Lakeview then cut over to Old Buncombe Road. Where OBR crosses Sulphur Springs the right side of the road is very rough so I was out in the lane. Some guy pulled right behind me and laid on the horn. Once I was clear of the rough stuff I pulled over and 5 seconds later he was on top of the next vehicle tailgating it. Where OBR crosses Poinsett Highway I was in the left turn lane to turn left and cross the highway. A car pulled around me in the straight lane and hooked me making a left turn without stopping at the stop sign, then he nearly hit another bicycle broadside that was crossing the intersection. From there I followed OBR to Watson and then took McElhaney into TR. I stopped at the TReehouse, but it was closed (they close on Monday and Tuesday). I road back down the trail and stopped at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe. I had a decaf Americano with cream and a Jolly Goat sandwich with no brad on a bed of lettuce. I also bought a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie for Cissi. From there I cut behind Mt Calvary to the Hampton Station and crossed the Hampton Avenue Walk Bridge. I rode to Cleveland Park and took Hillside up the big hill. About 2/3 th way up the hill I stopped and talked to Pat for a while. Then I rode on home.
